Turn the skies pink for Organ Donation Week
It will soon be Organ Donation Week and this year we want as many local landmarks and buildings around the country to light their skies pink to inspire people to add their name to the NHS Organ Donor Register.
We are pleased to confirm that our Organ Donation Week campaign is now taking place between 26th September to 2nd October.
The timing of the campaign has been moved to respect the period of national mourning, due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
We hope you are able to join us celebrating the gift of life, and working together to build awareness of the incredible difference organ donation can make.
Think pink this Organ Donation Week
Organ Donation Week is the perfect time for people to record their organ donation decision and chat about what they’ve chosen with their family and friends.
Often people need reminding to think or talk about organ donation and what better visual prompt than a vibrant pink building? Pink is the colour of the organ donation card and the more buildings lit pink the more awareness raised for this life-saving gift.
