Bharat donated both kidneys, his corneas and other tissue.

Bharat fell ill suddenly at his family home in Middlesex, after suffering a cardiac arrest caused by a blood clot in his heart. He sadly died a few days later in hospital.

His wife and 2 sons agreed to organ donation because they felt helping others was part of Bharat’s nature, and in line with his beliefs and faith system as a Hindu.

It just felt like, someone’s got to benefit from this at the end of the day and it’s not us, so why not someone else?
